Christmas at Redemption | Overcome

We’d love for you to join us this Christmas Eve for worship. We will have 2 services, 4:30 & 6:30 PM where we will sing familiar Christmas songs, share a gospel message, and end in a candlelight reflection. Invite your friends and family and celebrate Christ with us!

The doors at Cheyenne Middle School will open 30 minutes before each service. Come enjoy some holiday treats and snap a photo with friends and family! Contact info@redemptionokc.com with questions.

John 1:5 says, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Many things in life are overwhelmingly dark. But we are not left there. Jesus has overcome the darkness in our world in his life, death, and resurrection (John 16:33). Not only that, but the Bible also says that we have overcome the world: “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.” When we fully embrace who Jesus is, we find light in the darkness and we trade being overwhelmed by darkness with being overwhelmed by light. This Christmas season we want to reflect on what it looks like for our lives to be overcome by the hope, joy, peace, and love found in the person of Christ.

We have also put together a guide for Advent to help you reflect on the story of Christmas throughout the whole month of December.
