Our Winter/Spring Trimester starts February 2nd!
We hope everyone will belong in community with others. We grow best as disciples of Jesus when we are connected in authentic community where we learn to believe the gospel together. We believe following Jesus is a group project, so we are intentional about connecting people in Redemption Groups to learn, laugh, challenge, struggle, pray, serve and share life with one another. We are all on a spiritual journey that has both highs and lows, mountains and valleys, celebration and struggle. Groups give us the opportunity to walk out the “one anothers” of scripture in real ways. Our greatest good is found as we walk with Jesus through it all.
Redemption Groups have a variety of forms to meet people where they are. Some may find that a men’s group or women’s group is the best fit for a particular season, while others may find that a mixed group of families will best facilitate healthy growth. Others may need a group that is focused on a particular topic (recovery, financial freedom, etc.). While our Groups may have a variety of forms, the heart always remains the same – to grow as authentic followers of Christ.
“Each group meets for three twelve-week periods over the course of the calendar year.”
We understand that you may be new to all of this. That’s okay. Our groups are great places to explore what faith looks like in the day-to-day of life. Each group meets for three twelve-week periods over the course of the calendar year. This allows us to have periods of rest and renewal. We hope this rhythm lets you explore new groups, or build stronger relationships in your current group.
“To us, discipleship is not a strategy, program, Bible study, or ministry–it’s a way of life.”
We want to help you grow as a disciple (follower) of Jesus. To us, discipleship is not a strategy, program, Bible study, or ministry–it’s a way of life. We want to help one another live in light of the gospel and in line with the gospel. Together, we pursue growth as followers of Jesus who are well-equipped for life.
“As the father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Rather than doing church as a once-a-week meeting under a steeple, we try to live on mission throughout the week wherever we go. Jesus told his disciples, “As the father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” We take this charge to go make a difference very seriously. Our vision is to multiply redemption groups throughout our city so that we see the mark of redemption in the lives of our neighbors, co-workers and classmates. In these relationships, we tell others about the redemption available in Jesus and demonstrate what life with Jesus is like.
