This Easter is unlike any we have experienced in our lifetime. The Church is celebrating Easter Sunday in homes all across the world instead of gathering in buildings together. Yet the hope we have in Christ does not change. It can not be diminished by our lack of meeting in the same room together. In fact, our hope is growing as each day brings us closer to the eternal resurrection life that we are promised in Christ! This year as a part of our Easter Celebration, we are launching the Declare Hope Project. Here is how you can participate:

  • Take a photo on Easter Sunday and post it to your social media accounts with the phrase, “I have hope because Christ is Risen!”
  • Tag Redemption Church with your photo so we can share it as well! (@redemptionokc)
  • Use the hashtag #declarehopeproject2020

Feel free to dress up, write your hope on a poster board, record a video instead, and be creative. Let’s declare hope this Easter!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  1 Peter 1:3-4
