The next workshop will be held on July 26th and signups will open approximately 6 weeks before that date.

Join us for our Membership Workshop!

For us, membership is all about discipleship. During this workshop, you will hear about our heart and structure for discipleship and we will help you form a discipleship plan aimed to serve you wherever you are in your faith journey.

This is open to anyone seeking to become a member of Redemption Church. Space is limited to 30 attendees.

You will need to plan for a few hours of homework before attending. Homework includes a focused Bible study as well as writing down your personal Redemption Story (testimony).

A membership workbook binder can be picked up on Sundays by the information/tv cart in the commons after registration is complete. The workshop will be held on March 1st, from 6:00PM – 8:00PM in the commons at Cheyenne Middles School. Light snacks, coffee, and water will be provided. Childcare is also available with registration.

Why are we pursuing membership as a church?

We live in a world where busyness is at an epidemic level. So, the idea of intentional investment in a community is foreign to many people. Yet, as humans, we are created to develop deeper root systems than our culture tells us—root systems of family, community, place, time, and purpose.

This is why we believe that membership in a worthwhile process. In a culture that values mobility, transience, and individuality, we value the stability and security of a membership commitment to a local church. Membership is our way to have a conversation about committing with one another to live together as the family of God, to worship together, grow and be transformed, and to expand God’s mission in our city.

The purpose of this process is to give you insight into who we are as a church, what our members pursue together, and what it might mean for you to become a member of Redemption Church. Our goal is to present the essential theological, cultural, and philosophical “DNA” of our church. This includes detailed descriptions of our beliefs, habits, ministry strategy, and leadership. Attending this workshop does not obligate you to become a member. Think of it more like entering the pathway to consider what membership might mean for you.

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and
established in the faith, just as you were taught,
abounding in thanksgiving.”

– Colossians 2:6-7
