During the month of August, we want to help you get connected to serving in the life of Redemption Church. Each Sunday in our worship gatherings, we will introduce a couple of our teams. We will also have space for you to connect with each team before and after service in our commons area. This is your chance to ask questions, get acquainted with the opportunities, and find a place to serve! Our service begins at 10:30 AM at Cheyenne Middle School. Come early, grab some coffee, and get connected!

We believe that serving is one of the most impactful ways to grow.

God has wired us all to seek and serve a mission that is bigger than us. We want to call you to serve that mission for one hour per week, whether you are here newly exploring church or you have been involved in church your whole life.

Why do we believe this?

Jesus calls us to serve and to give so that other’s may live. He modeled this for us during his time on earth as our Servant King inaugurating an upside-down kingdom with His life, death, and resurrection. Mark 10:45 days, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Jesus calls us to follow his example and go make a difference in the lives of others.

As you serve, you will get to know yourself and your gifts, build friendships with teammates, and grow in your understanding of God. We are convinced that as you jump in you will find greater joy as you make a difference for the Glory of God and the good of our city.

When we begin to understand how much we’ve been given in Christ, our gratitude compels us to give back. We want to help you to use your gifts and talents on a serve team this year, and there are many opportunities to serve as a part of our church family.
