At this time of year, many of us make New Year’s Resolutions. We want to eat better, exercise more, follow a budget, read more, use technology less, or any number of things. But this is also a great time of year to pause and evaluate our relationship with Jesus and to identify changes that we need to make in this area as well. From the newest of Christians to the most mature, we all have room to grow in our walk with the Lord; none of us has ‘arrived’. So, we’ve created a tool to help you prayerfully evaluate your discipleship over the past year and identify ways to grow in the coming year.

Redemption Church exists to make authentic disciples of Jesus who live for the glory of God and the good of our world. Everything we do, from our Worship Gathering to small groups to student ministry, is about Christ! We believe that following Jesus is the single most important decision a person can make and that this commitment is not a one-time decision, but growing as a disciple is a lifelong process of walking faithfully with our King. However, the world around us seems to be doing its best to pull us away from Jesus everywhere we look. Whether it’s the simple stresses of everyday life, major tragedies, relational strife, financial hardship, or the overwhelming amount of temptations to sin, choosing to follow Jesus is hard!

This is why we created the Yearly Discipleship Plan. The goal is to give you space to reflect on your walk with Jesus over the past year and to help you identify areas of growth for the upcoming year. You can access an online form or digital PDF in the links below. It’s our desire for this to become an annual part of your discipleship. *We are also exploring options for you to upload these to your profile in our church database profiles so you can reference them from year to year and chart your spiritual growth.
